InevitaBULL!  Michael Jordan finally brings a championship to the Windy City.  The Chicago Bulls begin their reign of dominance over the NBA.  Having won four straight NBA scoring titles, Michael Jordan faced immense pressure as many whispered that he might have the Wilt Chamberlain syndrome - an all-time great player but few or no championships.  No team had won a championship with the league's scoring leader since the 1971 Bucks with Kareem.  There was no lack of challengers in the league for the Bulls.  The Bad Boys, coming off back to back NBA titles were still rough and tough.  The Portland Trail Blazers led the NBA with a 63-19 record.  The Admiral had the Spurs cruising, the Mailman was delivering wins with regularity in Utah, Magic was performing his act in Los Angeles and the Suns were getting hot in Phoenix . . .  and that was only the west!  Larry Legend was making one of his last runs in Boston as the Celtics won the Atlantic. The Bulls flew through the Eastern Conference while the Lakers upset the Trail Blazers in the Western Conference to set up an epic battle between Magic and Michael.  The Bulls dispatched the Lakers 4-1 in the Finals and Jordan had his championship.  1990-91 is a great NBA season.   Relive all of the action with Courtside Basketball and the 1990-91 Season Set!
