In the second season of expansion hockey, the Montreal Canadiens and St. Louis Blues met for the second straight season in the Stanley Cup Finals.  The Canadiens won the cup again over Scotty Bowman and the Blues.  Bobby Hull netted 58 goals for the Black Hawks and Phil Esposito assisted on 77 goals while leading the league in scoring with 126 pts.  Jacques Plante and Glenn Hall were amazing in net for the Blues and Ed Giacomin played goalie in 70 games winning a league high 37 times.  The West Division was competitive as St. Louis won and Oakland skated to a second place finish.  In the East, Montreal edged out Boston to win the division.  At age 20, Bobby Orr won the Norris Trophy and showed the world what kind of superstar he was going to be.  Relive it all with Rinkside Hockey and the 1968-69 Season Set.
